Drofa Comms conducted a series of interviews with women leaders from various sectors of fintech, including AI-driven platforms, business development, payments, and financial consultancy to understand the current landscape and challenges women face in the traditionally male-dominated industry.

Representation and Bias. Women are still significantly underrepresented in fintech, especially in senior roles, and face bias, being undervalued or underestimated by male colleagues and stakeholders.
Mentorship and Networking. Mentorship programs and networking are crucial for career advancement. Women leaders stress the importance of mutual support and shared experiences.
Work-Life Balance. Balancing professional and personal life remains a major challenge, particularly for women with families.
What emerges is a clear call to keep building structures that allow women in fintech not just to enter the field, but to lead it.
