We first met Ania at the ETH Global Week in Cannes, where we found common ground. She shared that her path didn’t start in crypto but in insurance litigation. Then, she moved into tech law and eventually found herself at the frontier of the crypto industry. One that grows so fast that legislation can barely keep up.

In this episode, Ania speaks with host Maria Tunikova about what legal strategy in Web3 actually looks like today. What happens when founders treat legal as an afterthought? Why does decentralisation not mean freedom from regulation? And what does it mean to face a question that has no legal precedent anywhere in the world?
